Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Magicano account and everything in it at any time. There is no waiting period, no retention window and nothing to pay.

This cannot be undoneDeleting your account erases your predictions, points, cards, leaderboard history and league memberships permanently. There is no way to restore them, and re-registering with the same email creates a brand-new, empty account.

Option 1 — from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Magicano app and sign in.
  2. Go to the More tab.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — request it by email

If you cannot sign in, email us from the address registered on the account and we will delete it for you. Include your Magicano username so we can find it. We may ask one question to confirm the account is yours, then complete the deletion within 30 days — usually the same day.

What gets deleted

  • your account, name, username and email address
  • your password hash and all active sign-in tokens
  • your profile picture
  • every prediction you have made, and the points and cards they earned
  • your membership of every league, and any league you created that has no other members
  • every message you posted in a league chat
  • your push notification token

What may remain

  • Anonymous, aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you — for example the total number of predictions made on a fixture.
  • The minimum records we are legally required to keep, for only as long as the law requires.
  • Short-lived server security logs, until they roll over.
