Prize & Contest Rules

1. Sponsor

These Prize & Contest Rules are issued by Abdelrahman Elkaliby, an individual sole trader based in the Arab Republic of Egypt, operating under the name Magicano (the "Sponsor"), the sole sponsor and administrator of every Magicano prize promotion.

They form part of the Magicano Terms of Service. Where the two conflict on a prize matter, these Rules apply.

2. No purchase, no entry fee, no wager

• Magicano is completely free. There is no entry fee, no stake, no deposit, no subscription and no in-app purchase.
• No purchase of any kind will improve your chance of winning, because there is nothing to purchase.
• Prizes are won by skill — the accuracy of your predictions — not by chance or by any random draw.
• This is not gambling, betting or a lottery. You never risk anything of value.

3. Who can enter

• You must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid Magicano account in good standing.
• If you are under 18, you may only claim a prize with the consent of your parent or legal guardian, who must accept these Rules on your behalf and provide the delivery details.
• One account per person. Anyone found holding more than one account is disqualified from all prizes.
• Employees of the Sponsor, and their immediate families, are not eligible.
• You are responsible for making sure that entering and receiving a prize is lawful where you live. If it is not, you must not claim a prize.
• Entry is automatic: simply submitting predictions in a gameweek enters you. There is nothing else to do and nothing to opt into.

4. The prizes

The Sponsor currently offers two prizes. Both are awarded at the Sponsor's discretion and may change from season to season — the version of these Rules published at the start of a gameweek or season governs that gameweek or season.

• Gameweek prize — the player ranked first on the Gameweek Winners board for a completed gameweek receives one replica shirt of the PL club of their choice, in a standard adult size of their choosing, subject to availability.
• Season prize — the player with the highest total points across the whole season receives one mobile phone. The exact make, model and specification are chosen by the Sponsor and announced at the time of the award.

Prizes are personal to the winner. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and they have no cash alternative.

The Sponsor chooses the exact item, brand, model, specification, colour and size supplied, and may substitute any prize with an alternative of broadly equivalent value at its sole discretion — for example where a model is discontinued, a shirt size or club kit is out of stock, or a particular item cannot be sourced or shipped.

Only one gameweek prize is awarded per gameweek, and only one season prize is awarded per season.

5. How the winner is decided

Winners are determined purely by the published scoring system, applied automatically by our servers to the official match data.

The gameweek winner is the player at rank 1 on the Gameweek Winners board once every fixture in that gameweek is final and fully scored. Where players are level on points, the winner is decided by the published tie-break ladder, which you can read at any time by tapping the information button on the Gameweek Winners screen:

• highest points in that gameweek;
• then most Magicano Cards won in that gameweek;
• then most Super Magic Cards (goals plus assists) won in that gameweek;
• then most Magic Cards won in that gameweek;
• then highest total points across all gameweeks;
• then the same three card counts across the whole season;
• then the older Magicano account.

The season winner is the player with the highest total points across every gameweek of the season, with the same card-count tie-breakers applied season-wide, and finally the older account.

Standings are provisional until the official data source has settled all results. The Sponsor may re-score a fixture and adjust a winner if the official data is corrected, or if a scoring error is found, before the prize is dispatched.

The Sponsor's determination of a winner is final.

6. Notification and claiming

• Winners are contacted at the email address registered on their Magicano account, and may also be announced inside the app.
• You must reply within 14 days of the notification, confirming your full name, delivery address, phone number for the courier, and — for a shirt — the club and size you want.
• If you do not reply within 14 days, if the details you give are invalid, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize is forfeited and the Sponsor may award it to the next eligible player.
• The Sponsor may ask for reasonable proof of identity and age before releasing a prize.

7. Delivery — your prize is yours, but there is no fixed date

Once the Sponsor has confirmed you as a winner and you have provided valid delivery details, that prize is yours and the Sponsor will honour it. What the Sponsor does not promise is when it arrives or how it gets to you.

Shipping physical goods across borders is genuinely unpredictable: stock runs out, customs holds parcels, couriers stop serving a route, and a club shirt can be out of production for months. Please read this section as a description of reality, not as a get-out.

• There is no guaranteed, promised or estimated delivery date, and no deadline by which the Sponsor must dispatch a prize. Prizes may be delayed, postponed, held, or dispatched together in batches at a later date.
• The Sponsor decides, at its sole discretion, how a prize is fulfilled — the supplier, the carrier, the route, the timing, whether it ships from abroad or is bought locally near the winner, and whether it is handed over in person.
• Where the exact advertised item cannot be sourced or delivered within a reasonable effort, the Sponsor will provide an alternative of broadly equivalent value instead. The winner is consulted where practical, but the final choice is the Sponsor's.
• The Sponsor pays the ordinary cost of getting the prize to the winner. Any customs duty, import charge, local tax or income tax arising from receiving it is the winner's sole responsibility.
• The Sponsor is not liable for any delay, postponement, loss, theft or damage in transit, nor for any loss, cost, disappointment or inconvenience a winner suffers because a prize arrives late or is replaced with an alternative. Where a parcel is lost by a courier, the Sponsor will pursue the claim and arrange a replacement.
• A prize is not a payment, a debt or a purchase. Nothing here creates a contract of sale, and no consumer-sale delivery guarantee applies to a free promotional prize.

In short: if you won it, you will get it. We simply cannot promise the date.

8. Disqualification

The Sponsor may disqualify any player, void their points, and withhold or reclaim a prize, where it reasonably believes that the player has:

• used more than one account, or an account registered to someone else;
• used bots, scripts or any automation to submit predictions;
• exploited a bug, a scoring error or a loophole rather than reporting it;
• colluded with other players to manipulate a leaderboard or a prize outcome;
• given false eligibility, identity or delivery information;
• breached the Magicano Terms of Service in any material way.

9. Publicity

By claiming a prize you agree that the Sponsor may publish your Magicano username, your display name and your avatar as the winner, inside the app and on Magicano's own social channels.

We will not publish your real name, your email address, your photograph or your address without asking you separately, and you may decline that without losing the prize.

10. Changes and cancellation

The Sponsor may amend these Rules, change a prize, or suspend or cancel a prize promotion, at any time — for example if the promotion cannot be run as planned because of a technical failure, fraud, or a cause outside the Sponsor's reasonable control.

Where a promotion is cancelled after a gameweek has been completed and a winner already determined, the Sponsor will honour that winner's prize.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Sponsor is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participating in a prize promotion, from a delay in receiving a prize, or from accepting, using or being unable to use a prize, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Sponsor gives no warranty in respect of any prize beyond any manufacturer's warranty supplied with it.

The Sponsor's entire liability in relation to any single prize is limited to providing that prize, or an alternative of broadly equivalent value, once. It does not extend to compensation, cash, expenses, or any consequential loss.

12. Not associated with Apple, Google or the PL

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, the PL, the Football Association PL Limited, Fantasy PL, or any PL club.

By entering, you release Apple Inc. and Google LLC from all liability arising from this promotion. Any question, comment or complaint about the promotion must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Apple or Google.

Club shirts offered as prizes are official retail merchandise purchased by the Sponsor. Naming a club identifies the product only and implies no endorsement by that club.

13. Governing law

These Rules are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction, without depriving a consumer of the mandatory protections of their country of residence.

The promotion is void where prohibited by law.
